About scientist
赵非,德国汉诺威医学院博士,现担任CIBR载体工程中心主任。载体工程中心主要负责制备各种常用病毒载体和病毒示踪工具,同时根据科学家的要求构建、生产定制化载体和工具。在不断优化现有载体工具及生产工艺的基础上,积极研发新系统,最终为神经科学研究提供更多更好的工具。
请介绍一下您平台的主要职责

大家好,这里是载体工程中心,也是研究所设立的多个技术平台之一。我们最主要的任务是为科研人员提供病毒载体相关的全流程、全方位支撑与服务。
目前我们的工作重点主要集中在神经科学领域最常用的病毒载体,特别是腺相关病毒、慢病毒、逆转录病毒等。我们的工作涵盖载体设计、克隆构建、病毒包装、现货库存以及使用咨询、实验讨论等,还会协助分析解决实验过程中出现的各种问题。
同时,我们也负责维护和管理研究所内部的实验材料共享库,可以为科研人员提供常用质粒和细胞系的订购、保存、领取和分发等共享服务。
基于载体中心的日常工作,我们还提供了一些其他的服务,比如支原体检测、实验设备、空间共享和管理、生物安全管理以及咨询等。
此外,我们在实时关注并尽快引进国际最新的病毒工具的同时,也在积极进行自主研发,希望能优化现有工具并开发新的工具,通过提供更多更好的病毒工具,以便在不同的实验条件下完成不同的实验目的,助力科研人员勇攀更高的科研高峰。
Hello, this is the Vector Core,one of the multiple core facilities in CIBR.Our main task is to providecomprehensive support and services related to virus vectors for scientists.
Currently, we mainly work onthe most commonly used viral vectors in neuroscience,especially adeno-associated viruses, lentiviruses, retroviruses, etc.Our full-aspect services cover vector design, clone construction, virus packaging, ready-to-use stock management,as well as application consultation, experiment setup discussion,and troubleshooting.
Meanwhile, we also maintain and manage the internal material-sharing bank within CIBRfor commonly used plasmids and cell lines,including ordering, preservation, requesting, and distributing.
Furthermore, we provide other daily servicessuch as mycoplasma testing, equipment sharing,lab space sharing and management, biosafety management, etc.
While closely tracking the latest developed virus tools globally and introducing them to CIBR,we are also actively engaged in research and development,hoping to optimize existing tools and generate new ones.By providing more and better virus tools,we aim to help scientists achieve different experimental purposes under various experimental conditionsand assist them in reaching new heights in scientific research.

我们始终如一的目标就是甘做基石,助力科研。
如果要细分一下,那么短期来看,我们希望能尽自己的努力,尽可能为科研人员提供优质的支撑与服务,尽量满足他们在病毒载体相关领域对于数量和质量的要求。
而我们的长期目标是与时俱进,伴随着科研人员的前进共同发展,伴随着科学研究的深入一起提高。在保质保量做好对研究所内外科研人员的支撑和服务的基础上,能够自主开发出更好或者更新的病毒工具。
We are committed to being the cornerstone to assist scientific research.
To break it down, our short-term goal is tomake every effort to providehigh-quality support and services for scientists,and try to fulfill all their requirements on quantity and quality for viral vectors.
Our long-term goal is to keep pace with the times,evolve together with the scientists,and equip ourselves with state-of-the-art techniques along with scientific progress.Besides providing high-quality support and services to researchers inside and outside the institute,we would love to independently develop improved or novel virus tools.

因此脑中心吸取了国际高水平研究所的经验,设立了一系列技术平台。而我之前在开发病毒工具,用于神经环路示踪领域具有比较好的研究经验,正好可以在脑中心发挥特长。因此我选择加入脑中心,利用自己在病毒工具和病毒载体方面的专业知识以及技术优势,和我们团队的其他成员一起,为神经科学家们提供相关领域的服务与支撑,让他们摆脱这些基础技术方面的细枝末节的困扰,把更多的时间和精力聚焦在他们所感兴趣的科学问题上。
Scientific breakthroughs in life sciences, especially in neuroscience,are often driven by the advanced development of scientific technologyand are achieved by the integration of multiple disciplines.With the ever-increasing speed of technological innovations,an individual researcher or laboratorycan no longer afford and master all state-of-the-art techniques.
Therefore, CIBR, like many other internationally renowned institutions,has established a series of core facilities to provide cutting-edge technologies and expertise.With my previous research experience in developing virus tools for neural circuit tracing,I am well-equipped to contribute my expertise to CIBR.That is why I am here at CIBR.Together with the Vector Core team,I am capable of providing professional support and serviceson viral vectors for neuroscientists.Our aim is to assist scientists in overcoming the difficulties and challenges in these fundamental technical aspectsso that they can focus more on addressing essential scientific questions.
